Day 4: Favorite Movies

Speaking about movies, gosh! there are tons of my favorite! I'm trying my best to just pick out ten only.. Here you go..

1. Harry Potter Saga

Enuff said. I won't say that the series are perfect but come on, who am i if i resist Harry Potter?? My favorite particularly would be The Prisoner of Azkaban. I love how Alfonso Quaron change the image of those kids to teenagers, with a lot of jeans n tee n humor a la ABG.

2. Up in The Air

Oom George's never fails. So does Jason Reitman.

3. Bangkok Traffic (Love) Story

After watching this movie, i'm pretty sure Thailand will be a very strong movie industry in Asia.

4. 3 Idiots

this movie made me laugh out loud, and then cry, laugh again, then cry again.

5. X-Men 1,2,3

I loooovveee X-Men. I like the fact that those bunch of mutants study in one school and practice to control their power. Their school is my second fictional school which i wish really were exist after Hogwarts.

6. Love Actually

I kinda falling for a movie which had many characters and different stories in it. and there's a benang merah between each story. Love Actually is a complete package of romance story. the setting time is Christmas which is make it even more perfect. I always love Christmas atmosphere, especially when it comes to movie. the soundtrack is great too, sweet and so much Christmas romance in it.

7. Before Sunrise - Before Sunset

Smart lines. Great setting. Smart romance.

8. (500) Days of Summer

Like like like this movie a lot. The plot is unique and unusual. Lots of flashbacks but doesn't make you confuse, instead, makes it more enjoyable. The chemistry between Summer and Tom is quite good too. And Zoey Deschannel is freaking gorgeous, one of the prettiest in Hollywood! Oh, and great soundtrack!!

9. The Sound of Music

Classic. You will never forget "Do, Re, Mi" right?

10. Sassy Girl (Korean Version)

Cute and fresh. The Hollywood version isn't good enough to be compared to the Korean ones.

Day 3: Seven (minus 5) Secrets

What is the point of telling another about your secrets? it won't be secrets anymore, then! haha. but i'll give it a try deh..tapi pendek-pendek aja.

1. hmmm, i posted it before. I have a crush on someone that i call Mr.M for like about 7 years this year!!!

2. i often get bitter feelings when any of my friend is luckier than me. well, just a little..

Day 2: Ten Random Facts About Myself

1. I still hoping that Hogwarts is really does exist.
2. I always bring Minyak kayu putih or Minyak Kapak or Balsem everywhere. Yeah it's so nenek-nenek! But i really like the scent, can't help it.
3. I can't cook. Obviously.
4. Recently, i'm sooo into Korean Entertainment Industry. Hello K-Pop, K-drama and K-Movie!!
5. My skill on navigation thing is way too lame. I don't understand why i have to be this bad on it because actually i don't really have difficulties on memorizing something. But why is it so damn hard for me to memorizing route and street?!
6. I love boys with glasses! i hope my next boyfriend is wearing one.
7. I'd love trying to work as a volunteer someday. I just want to do something good for my society since i haven't really give anything to it.
8. My ideal type of BF is Micheal Moscovitz on The Princess Diaries series. He's just perfect for me. Read it and you'll know why.

9. I have a strange habit: I like to put my right hand underneath another person's body part. My family call this habit as 'Nyodok'. When i was a kid i used to do it in order to keeping my hand warm, even though my hand is never really get cold easily. the main reason of this habit is still a mystery.

10. I've always been fascinated by languages. I would like to learn lost of new language if i could. learning a language isn't just about learning a new bunch of words or learning the grammar, but moreover it's about feeling something of different culture. i'm just amazed by how languages can form culture of a society.

5 most memorable day of my life(in no particular order):

1. 2004

The day when my Grandma was passed away. It was such a terrible moment yet unforgettable for me. I was on my 8th grade back then, and i just realized how much important the role of a mother for her children. The 1st time i saw my mom fainted, right in front of her mother's dead body. So sad..

2. July 2008

The day i got accepted at UI. It was a magical moment because i was like 80% sure i wouldn't got accepted. I remember checking upon my name on UI's website and when i saw the statement that i was accepted, my whole body felt so light, i was at trance! and a few seconds later, i screamed for my happiness.

3. November 2008

The day when my latest relationship was over. I can't forget it, honestly. Not because of the pain but moreover because i remember i kept telling to myself: "this is it! this is it! it's over!". I was pretty sure back then that our relationship was close to its end on that day. I wasn't even thinking of making-up with him later. it's totally over.

4. May 1st, 1999

Nurhaliza Rayhana was born!!

5. August 2009

The day when i got my 1st pay-check. The 1st time i earn my own money in a proper job.

Setelah Lebaran...

Selamat Lebaran yaaa buat semua yang merayakan! Minal Aidin wal faidzin kalo saya pernah nulis sesuatu yg tidak berkenan di blog ini. Atau buat yang kebetulan kenal sama saya ya mohon dibukakan pintu maafnya buat semua kekhilafan saya.. Semoga setelah idul fitri dan dan lebaran ini kita semua bisa menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik lagi. Amieeennn!

Anyway, I've got my Lebaran break for 2 weeks and right now it's only 5 days left.. and I'm freaking scare of what's gonna happen on this new term!! fye, sebelum libur lebaran saya sempet masuk kuliah seminggu, so basically the new term has already began. Awalnya saya merasa 'ah apalah artinya seminggu? masih puasa, paling juga dosen banyak yg gabut, temen2 juga banyak yang udah mudik'. So yeah, saya agak malas-malasan waktu mulai masuk kuliah yang seminggu itu and I was totally unprepared for that week.

And then it turned out that seminggu itu benar-benar seperti peringatan besar buat apa yang bakal terjadi selama 3 bulan semester ganjil besok! Firstly, dosen-dosen ngga ada yang ga masuk ternyata!! Jadi saya kuliah penuh gitu seminggu.. Secondly, semua kata-kata yang keluar dari mulut dosen-dosen itu hanya sekitaran soal tugas tugas dan tugas! gimana orang ngga stress coba?!

Kemudian mari kita bahas mata kuliah-mata kuliah utama saya buat semester ini. Yang saya maksud mata kuliah-mata kuliah utama ini maksudnya mata kuliah wajib dari jurusan saya (Sastra Cina), singkatnya yang berbau-bau cina lah yaaa!

Emmm, selain Bahasa Cina Modern lanjutan yang seperti biasa ada, semester ini ada Bahasa Cina Klasik (oh dear..), Historiografi Cina (apaaa coba??), Terjemahan Cina-Indonesia dan Pengkajian Kesustraan Cina. Menarik yaa??? -__- heuheuheu!

Yang bikin stress buat saya terutama adalah Bhs Cina Modern. Dosen-dosen udah warning gitu kalo setiap sebelum matkul ini para mahasiswa sudah harus fully prepared! nyiapin bahan kuliah, latihan-latihan, grammar2 baru pokoknya semua. Dan saat kegiatan kuliah berlangsung kemungkinan besar bakalan diisi terus sama Quiz atau ujian-ujian kecil. Singkatnya, semester ini saya kuliah buat ujian!!! dan mata kuliah ini seminggu 3x!! belom lagi tugas-tugas kayak karangan dsb. Panik? Yeah menurut lo??! T.T Bahkan saking takut dan paniknya saya sampe nge-drop matkul pilihan yang bener-bener saya minatin. I'm just too scared that i couldn't handle anymore class!

Hidup saya kayak bener-berner jungkir balik sekarang. Dari sebelumnya saya lagi nikmatin libur 3 bulan yang bener-bener lengang, fun, dan banyak saya isi sama malas2an. Sekarang tiba-tiba semuanya berakhir gitu aja dan langsung disambut tugas-tugas baru. 3-4 bulan ke depan bakalan kayak days from hell kali yaa..

Yeah sisi positifnya mungkin saya bisa kurus semester ini hehe :p

Seperti kata Ewan McGregor di Moulin Rouge, "Come What May..." Pasrah emang the only option i have right now.

Gotta go! harus ngerjain tugas Historiografi! :(((
