1. Traffic Jam. That's the first thing that pop out of your head when you hear the name of Jakarta. It's probably the worst in asia. they used to compare it with the traffic jam in Bangkok, but at least they already have BTS (Bangkok Traffic System) in Bangkok. That's why I assume that the traffic jam in Jakarta is the worst!!

2. Flood. It used to be flood season once in 5 years, and then once in 3 years. Now?? almost every time the rain lasts for more than 1 hour!! where's your responsibility Mr. Governor?!!! *sigh*

3. You can easily find mini mart in every inch of this city. Really really reaaallyy easy! Even you'll easily find two different mini mart's franchise opposite each other. And they're keep building another ones, especially in the suburban. Wtf??

4. Besides mini mart, they're also keep building the Giant Mart a.k.a Shopping Mall, Shopping Arcade, Shopping Centre, Shopping Town, etc. you name it..

5. Talk about big city, there comes big and high criminal rates.

6. Lots of conflict lands here. In the end, normally, the victims are the poor.

7. Jakarta is culinary heaven. Gotta admit that..

8. There are so many music festivals, concerts, or music showcase. From Jazz to Rock fest, all here. You'll be pleased to live here if you're a music buff.

9. We still have our landmark, The National Monument! It keeps standing tall no matter what..

10. You can clearly see how high the gap between the poor and the rich in this city. Just look at behind those glamorous office towers or apartments, you'll find dirty alleys and settlement of the poor. So ironic..
